Communications Lead


Emma's interest in evolving energy narratives stems from her experience working as a historical researcher and writer. As a communications professional, she is focused on exploring the relationship between energy literacy and storytelling. She believes that stories are a powerful tool in helping us tackle important issues with curiosity and empathy.

Emma's professional experience ranges from educational programming and public speaking to historical research and strategic communications. She holds a BA in History and Creative Writing from the University of Calgary and currently runs her own consultancy based out of Calgary, Alberta. She works with Energy Futures Lab as their Communications Lead.
