IMPACT! Youth Sustainability Leadership Training (Ottawa, ON)

Developing sustainability leaders of today and tomorrow

Young people care deeply about the planet and its people. Given the opportunity, young leaders can have great influence over positive change in their communities. The IMPACT! Youth Sustainability Leadership Training is a call to passionate, motivated youth who are looking for that opportunity to make a difference.

IMPACT! is a national initiative of The Co-operators and The Natural Step Canada. This session is being delivered in partnership with Futurpreneur Canada and Social Delta, and many other community partners. (Click here for a list of all current sessions.)

This offering is one of the main elements of the IMPACT! Youth Sustainability Leadership Program, recognized by Canada’s Clean50 as the Top Project for 2015 for its outstanding contribution to sustainable development and clean capitalism.

Change makers wanted

This is an incredible opportunity for young leaders across Canada who care about sustainability to take their next strategic step for action: to deepen their sustainability understanding, build their leadership skills, and develop or advance projects and initiatives for meaningful change.

This inspiring, high-impact offering builds the capacity of young leaders to act strategically to address the environmental, social, and economic challenges facing our world today.

The program is anchored by in-person weekend workshops. Following this top-notch training, participants develop and implement new initiatives, or take a leadership role in scaling up existing initiatives. Support is available through coaching, mentorship, project development tools, and access to funding, to ensure initiatives have the highest chance of success.
