The emerging social innovation field – Tim Draimin, Executive Director, Social Innovation Generation (Free Webinar)

The Natural Step Canada’s new strategic plan has been inspired by the emerging field of social innovation. Defined as an initiative, product, process or program that profoundly changes the basic routines, resource and authority flows or beliefs of any social system (e.g. individuals, organizations, neighbourhoods, communities, whole societies), social innovation is about new ideas that work to address pressing unmet needs.

The Executive Director of Social Innovation Generation, Tim Draimin (top right), and The Natural Step Canada’s Executive Director, Chad Park (bottom right), will provide an overview of this blossoming field, share inspiring examples, and explain its connection to the Framework for Strategic Sustainable Development and the Sustainability Transition Lab.
